About Sara

Sara Bartlett Athman, M.S., BCBA graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Community Psychology from St. Cloud State Univeristy in 2008. She obtained her Masters of Science Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from St. Cloud State University in 2010. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2011. Later in 2019, Sara became licensed in the state of Minnesota as a Positive Support Professional.

Sara's introduction to the study of behavior started with dog training. She owned her own dog training company, Odie's Obedience, for nine years. This led her to furthering her education and focusing on improving the lives of children and their families and teachers. Over the last two years Sara has worked with adults in the community who are interested in learning life skills such as various communication strategies, conflict resolution, anger management, and emotional regulation.

Over the past 13 years, Sara has provided services to over 150 individuals, with and without disabilities, in schools, job sites, communities, and home settings. 

 

Recommendations are based on the latest research in the behavior and mental health fields.

Sara lives in Northern Minnesota with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, cat, two bunnies, and several chickens. She enjoys hiking, boating, kayaking, and biking!
